About Ellie and her Jewellery
The weird and wonderful world of Ellie Stickland, Jewellery Artist
In 2012 Ellie set out to build a world entirely her own, a roller-coaster of a ride defined by the people she’s worked with, the people she loves yet also by the pain and vulnerability of life’s trials and tribulations. Her work draws influence from the simple beauty of nature, love of folk, country and jazz music and the work of painters such as Paul Klee, Kandinsky, Hockney and Rob Gonsalves.
A Jewellery Design graduate of Central Saint Martins, Ellie perfected her craft through personal development and pushing her own boundaries. With strong roots in Bespoke design, client collaboration is what makes her work what it is. Ellie’s skills lie in Design, drawing and painting and her ability to understand people, translating in to it a design unique to them, no matter how simple or unique – that is down to the client she’s working with.
Using only the finest quality stones and materials, each piece is handcrafted in London by Ellie and a handpicked team of Craftsmen and women. Where possible Ellie sources Fairtrade stones and metal and each piece is handmade to order with packaging always kept to a minimum, preferring for the jewellery and customer service to speak for itself.
Ellie mostly works on Bespoke collaborations but also sells her pre-designed pieces. Alongside her client projects, she’s currently writing her first book whilst working on a few sculpture and painting ventures.
